I have a new laptop running windows 8. It is now constantly hanging up, stoping in mid sentence, resizing the pages, If I am playing a game it allows me to run for a few seconds and then stops, then it allows me move again for about 30 second then
it stops again. It makes it very difficult to type a complete sentence. I am so frustrated I almost want to throw it against a wall. I had to take back two others that did not work right and this one doesn't either. It is HP Pavillion
g7. I want to add more ram and will soon but want to see if there is something I can do before I ship it back to hp in anger. Windows 8 has some nice features but I could get around in 7 so much better. Is it a memory issue? CPU issue, or
something else? It worked fine until it started updating. I have read that disabling the bluetooth feature might help.

Since it's related to game and graphics, update the graphics card driver. If no update is available, uninstall the drivers, restart the PC, install the drivers, restart the PC and then check.
